Announcing the RuneQuest Rules Mailing List In response to increasing demand for a long-term forum friendly to RuneQuest rules discussion, and to several direct requests for such a list, I have created a RuneQuest Rules Mailing List. This list will subsume and replace the rq-playtest mailing list, which I will disable shortly (in honor of the RQ:AIG playtest, which is itself dying). It will also leave the RQ-Daily and RQ-Digest free to reach the Gloranthan Loremasters' Club status they struggle for so mightily. I expect discussion topics to include, among others: Rules Questions and Answers House Rules Future Editions of the Rules Speculation on the future status of RQ as a supported game system Rules Playtests Variants Sorcery Systems Combat sport verification of combat rules New settings for RuneQuest It is available in two formats, a direct reflector mailing list and a digested mailing list. If you prefer to have your mail arrive message by message during the day then you will want to subscribe to the direct reflector. If you prefer to get a few collections of messages per day then you will want to subscribe to the digest. There is nothing to keep you from subscribing to both, but as the content will be identical there is no reason to do so either. That will subscribe you to the list. If you want to see what all you can do try emailing to majordomo@hops.wharton.upenn.edu and writing "help" in the first line of your message. There are presently no archives, but in the future I will make the archived list and some associated files available for retrieval using FTP, WWW, Gopher, and Email.
